VAIL CASCADE WELCOMES SCOTT BERNARD, NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

VAIL, Colorado—February 26, 2010—Vail Cascade Resort & Spa, along with Rob Henderson, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, is pleased to announce that Scott Bernard has joined the team as National Sales Manager. Bernard has demonstrated the ability to achieve new levels of profitability in a world-wide market, including the experience of negotiating a five million dollar revenue stream in a new international market in under two years.

Most recently, Bernard has represented Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado as  Sales Manager in vertical markets such as retail, real estate, financial and environmental services and was named Top Corporate Segment Producer for the third quarter of November, 2009.
 
“With a unique combination for attention to detail, creativity and strong relationship selling skills, I will go above and beyond to exceed the expectations of the National Sales Manager position with the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa,” states Bernard.

Previously, Bernard has been instrumental as an account manager for Hilton International and as a corporate event organizer throughout North America and Europe. Rounding out Bernard’s range of hospitality qualifications includes the ability to install and offer support for the Delphi Customer Relation Management software system as Director of Asia-Pacific Operations at Newmarket International based in Singapore and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Recreational pursuits include skiing, mountain biking and hiking.  Bernard is also a board member of COPPeR, the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region.
