ARIA SPA & CLUB AT VAIL CASCADE SUPPORTS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Club to Donate $5 for Massages, Facials and Body Treatments Throughout October and Host Rally for the Cure Tennis Event
Vail, Colo. – Oct. 2, 2009 – Throughout October, visitors to Aria Spa & Club at Vail Cascade have a variety of ways in which they can support Breast Cancer Awareness month. A month-long spa promotion and a special tennis event on Oct. 17 provide members and guests with ways to be serene or strong while supporting local and national cancer organizations.
Aria Spa & Club will donate $5 to the Shaw Cancer Center based in Edwards, Colo. for every massage, facial or body treatment that is booked in October. The spa is running its popular 40 percent off promotion throughout October, so guests will receive a great value while supporting the cancer center. Aria’s 40 percent off promotion runs through Nov. 15.
On Saturday, Oct. 17 at 5:30 p.m. the tennis center at Aria Spa & Club will host “Rally for the Cure,” an event to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The two-part event begins with a longest rally contest with prizes going to the duo with the most consecutive hits from the baseline. After the rally contest, a doubles round robin tournament will commence with prizes going to the team that wins the most number of total games.
Throughout the round robin competition teams will have an opportunity to enhance their game by purchasing vouchers to better their score. Vouchers such as “Do Over,” “3rd Serve,” and “Play with the Wrong Hand” can be purchased to give teams an upper hand against the competition. Vouchers cost between $5 ad $10 – there is no limit to the number of vouchers that can be purchased. And, the purchase of vouchers is encouraged as all proceeds benefit the Komen organization.
