    Vail Lacrosse Shootout
    June 29, 2014 - July 06, 2014

The Vail Lacrosse Shootout, now in its 42nd year, is an invitational lacrosse tournament that includes approximately 96 teams from all over the country. In 2014 our Men’s Elite Division will include several international teams that will be playing in the Shootout as a warm up to their participation in the World Championships being held in Denver in 2014. The Vail Shootout takes place over eight days in the beautiful mountain resort of Vail, Colorado and features some of the most competitive, exciting lacrosse action you’ll see. In 2014 the Shootout starts on June 29 and concludes on July 6. Games are played at several field venues in the Vail area including the Vail Athletic Field, Vail Mountain School and Donovan Park in Vail; Homestake Peak school and Eagle-Vail stadium in Eagle-Vail; Nottingham Park in Avon and Freedom Park in Edwards. The 2014 Shootout will feature U-19 High School Boys and Girls Divisions with approximately 24 teams in each; Men’s and Women’s Elite Divisions (collegiate and post-collegiate players) with approximately 24 teams in each; and a Chumash event for boys and girls from approximately ages 8 through 14. Our venue at the Vail Athletic Field will feature a vending tent where souvenir Vail Lacrosse Shootout apparel can be purchased. Tournament programs with game schedules are available at all field locations.
