Vail America Days - July 4th
Vail is a great place to escape the heat and spend time with the family celebrating America's Declaration of Independance on the Fourth of July. With live music, kids' activities, a parade and more, there's no better way to celebrate America's birthday than in the Rocky Mountains!
The kids' fun zone will be filled to the brim with fun from 12:00pm until 4:00pm. Bring the kids to Lionshead to participate in arts and crafts, fun games, challenges and a Kids Poetry Contest. Bands will play in Vail Village all day, including the 101st Division Army band. A beer garden and food vendors will be set up in order to enjoy the music.
The Region's Largest Independence Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. making its way from Golden Peak, through Vail Village and ending in Lionshead around noon. This year's parade is themed "Team America" to celebrate Vail's ties to the athletes who will be competing at the Olympic Games in London this summer. Make sure to arrive early and pick a place along the parade route to get the best views!
