The Burton U.S. Open, which first took place in 1982, is now the longest-running snowboarding competition in the world, attracting the world's top competitors. The event will now take center stage at Vail at the Golden Peak Terrain Park.
Like many an East Coast rider, the 31st US Open of Snowboarding has made its move West, to Vail, Colorado after 30 years in Vermont.
