Atwater Beer Buzz March 7

Greetings! It’s prime Spring Break season, and things are rockin’ in at Vail Cascade Resort! Families, ski clubs, international guests…you name it, we’ve got someone visiting us from all corners of the world. The alternating snow and sunshine is pretty ideal, so we’ve got something for everyone, on and off the mountain. Craft beer is surfacing everywhere, from pairing stations at receptions to hosted bars and beer pairing dinners.

The culinary team at Atwater on Gore Creek has finalized the menu for the Grand Teton Brewmaster’s Weekend coming up on March 15 & 16th, and it looks delicious! Here it is for your convenience, and I’ve attached it as well.

Don’t forget that we’ll have our traditional “Meet the Brewmaster” on Friday evening from 4 – 7pm in Fireside Bar as well. It’s a wonderful opportunity to try some beers and visit with the Brewmaster!

Wednesday Night Craft Beer Tastings are rockin’ along with everything else. Last night, our tasting with Boulevard Brewing Co. was one of the busiest tastings to date, and Patrick Brady had barely a break over the entire 2 hour period. Guests were given the opportunity to taste Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat, Boulevard Pale, Boulevard Amber, Boulevard Irish Red, Boulevard Bully! Porter, and Boulevard Sixth Glass Belgian Quad. Brady didn’t have much left to haul back out at 6:30pm.

Oskar Blues Brewing Co. is our featured brewery next Wednesday, and Dylan McDonald will be here talking craft beer with the following Oskar Blues products: Dale’s Pale Ale, Mama’s Little Yella Pils, Deviant Dale’s IPA, and Gubna Imperial IPA. Join us from 4:30 – 6:30pm in Fireside for these complimentary tastings and enjoy complimentary valet parking, too! If you’d like to make an evening of it, we have our $2 pizza slices during the tasting as well…

Back on our craft beer list this week are:

  • Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider, Boston, MA
  • Dogfish Head Tweason’ale, Milton, DE

Our Craft Draft Flight in our Vail restaurant this week features the following:

  • AC Golden Colorado Native
