Greetings from the land of wildflowers!

I'm guessing that we have the crazy weather this year to thank for the glorious array of wildflowers that are blooming all over Vail Mountain. It's absolutely amazing, and I understand that there is another wave of flowers about to bloom right in the middle of all of it. You need to come see it!

And while you're here...come join us for our Brewmaster's Weekend on Friday and Saturday, July 18 & 19! Eric Wallace, co-Founder and President of Left Hand Brewing Co. in Longmont, Colorado will be our featured guest and host for our weekend events.

Wind up your week on Friday with an open tasting in Fireside Bar at our Meet the Brewmaster event. Free and open to any and all guests, locals, and other interested folks from 4-7pm, you can sample Left Hand products and visit with Eric Wallace about all things craft beer at your leisure.

Our weekend special is a Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro promotion, and the first 24 people to purchase a Milk Stout Nitro in Fireside Bar will receive a complimentary Left Hand stout glass, especially created for the style by Spiegelau Glass in conjunction with Left Hand and Rogue Ales. This glass has an amazing (read: unbelievable) effect on the aromatics of the craft beer, and absolutely enhances your quaffing pleasure.

Save your seat for the Small Plates & Craft Beer Pairing in Atwater on Gore Creek on Saturday evening at 6:00pm. The Atwater culinary team will co-host this event with Eric Wallace, and both will guide you through five courses of craft beer and food pairings. The pairings were created for each beer individually, and these events are always a culinary dream. The cost is $35++/person, and you can reserve your seats by calling 970-479-7014 or email Laura. cocoa dusted blue cheese sphere, arugula, mache, raspberry variation

Mexican Spice Cake with Dulce de Leche Ice Cream
