Greetings from beautiful summertime in Vail!

The farmers markets have started, the arts festival is happening, the Bravo! concerts and the Tuesday night free concerts are rolling...what an amazing time to be in Vail! The Fourth of July celebrations are always fantastic, with lacrosse tournaments everywhere, our annual parade and music tribute to watch, and all topped with amazing fireworks in Avon and in Vail on different evenings.

In the midst of all of this celebration, we're preparing for our first Brewmaster's Weekend of 2014, hosting Eric Wallace, Founder and President of Left Hand Brewing Company on July 18th & 19th. If you haven't already put this on your calendar, please do and join us for some terrific craft beer & food pairings and meet the Owner and original brewmaster himself.

Friday afternoon, July 18, we begin with an informal Meet the Brewmaster event in Fireside Bar from 4-7pm, featuring several different Left Hand products being poured by our featured guest and an opportunity for you to meet and talk craft beer. We will be running a Left Hand special all weekend as well.

Saturday evening, July 19, is the Small Plates & Craft Beer Pairing in Atwater on Gore Creek beginning at 6pm. You will be led on a delicious guided tour by our Atwater culinary team and featured brewery, complete with narration by Eric Wallace and the chefs. There are traditionally 4 courses to this adventure, but the culinary team decided to add a fifth bonus course to kick off our 2014 series and pay homage to Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro. The menu is as follows:

Left Hand Stranger Pale Ale
Halibut Carpaccio
Intensity mix, banana lavender vinaigrette  

Left Hand Sawtooth Ale
“Sunny Side Up” BLT Benedict neuski bacon,
toasted pan de mei, tomato, avocado
whole grain mustard hollandaise  

Left Hand Good Juju
Summer Roll & Watermelon Gazpacho
cabbage, carrot, cucumber, jicama, mint green curry  

Left Hand Black Jack Porter
Red Alaea Salt Crusted 7X Colorado Beef
cocoa dusted blue cheese sphere, arugula, mache, raspberry variation  

Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro
Mexican Spice Cake with Dulce de Leche Ice Cream  

This tasty menu is also adaptable for all kinds of dietary adjustments, so if you'd like to attend and need to change anything please let us know and our chefs will make the appropriate changes for you.

Our Small Plates & Craft Beer Pairing is limited to 50 people, so please reserve your seats right away if you're interested in joining us. We have already booked several tables, and expect the event to be sold out. The cost is $35++ per person and, as all of our veteran attendees will tell you, you won't leave hungry!
