This season, Vail Cascade will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of opening Blue Sky Basin by offering a special Blue Sky, Great Buy offer to commemorate the occasion. Guests booking two nights at the Vail Cascade will get the third night for only $10!*

The Blue Sky, Great Buy offer is available throughout the 2009-2010 ski season with rates beginning at $109 per night. Rates may vary depending on the time of season booked and the offer is based on availability.

 

Vail Cascade is the only AAA Four-Diamond rated ski-in/ski-out resort in Vail and guests can easily access Chair 20, the Cascade lift to ski North America's largest single-mountain ski resort. Skiers and snowboarders can maneuver through the Back Bowls to access Blue Sky Basin, which opened in 2000 with three high-speed quad chairlifts and an additional 525 acres of terrain in Earl's Bowl. The new area was designed to provide skiers and snowboarders with a gladed snowriding experience that resembled being in the backcountry. The following winter, Vail added an additional 125 acres accessed by a new high-speed quad chairlift in Blue Sky Basin when Pete's Bowl opened. The two bowls in Blue Sky Basin - Pete's and Earl's - were named in honor of the ski resort's founders Pete Siebert and Earl Eaton.
